| - Monday, May 12, 2008 - School Board Meeting - 6:00 PM |
|
| -Eighth Grade Dinner Dance will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008. The dinner will run from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm and the dance will start immediately after and run until 9:00 pm. Tickets will be sold during 7th & 8th grade lunches the week of May 5. The cost is $11.00 for students attending the dinner and dance, and $5.00 for those who will only be attending the dance. Only eighth grade students are invited to the dinner portion of the evening. The 6th Grade dance will be held on May 30. |

| -May 27 - Parent Orientation for the current 5th graders will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafetorium. |
|
| -May 28 - 7/8 Grade Spring Chorus Concert will be held at the North Intermediate School starting at 7PM. |

| General Information |

| -Student Absences - Parents are to call the school when their son/daughter is absent from school. Parents should call the school (226-4557 x3057) between 7:30 A.M. and 8:30 A.M. You may also e-mail absences at wams@wallenpaupack.org. (For more information, please see Parent/Student Handbook) |

| - If you are going to pick up a student from school at dismissal time, you must send a note with your child. If someone else is picking up your child, please state so in note. If we do not have a note, the student will be placed on their bus home. |
|
| - Bus passes will not be issued to students. Students must ride their assigned buses to and from school. Only emergency situations will be considered for a bus pass. Students will not be issued bus passes to get off at the High School to ride with an older sibling. Students must submit a note and be picked up at the Middle School. |
