Hello Wallenpaupack North Primary Community,

I would like to welcome you all to the Wallenpaupack Area North Primary School. My name is Kevin Kromko and I am excited to be your new principal. I am replacing Mr. Cavallaro who retired at the end of the 2019 school year. Thank you to Mr. Cavallaro for his many years of service to our district. I'd like to introduce myself and tell you a little about my educational experiences. This begins my seventeenth year here at Wallenpaupack. I began my career here as a third-grade teacher in the North Primary. I taught both third and fourth grade before becoming the disciplinarian at the North Intermediate, disciplinarian at the High School, and then Assistant Principal at the high school. I am super excited to work with a fantastic staff, an outstanding community, and the best kids around!

As we approach the new school year I want you to know that I look forward to working with the Wallenpaupack Community. I look forward to meeting each child as they enter the building and look forward to watching them grow from their experience here at our school. Exciting things are happening with our curriculum. We utilize an outstanding reading program, ARC (American Reading Company), and are excited to be working with OGAP in mathematics. The opportunities here are bountiful and allow our children to grow both socially and academically. I also believe that for children to be successful there needs to be a strong connection between home and school.

I wish you success in the upcoming school year and encourage all of you to work hard over the summer to prepare for next school-year. Have a safe and restful vacation!

Sincerely,

Kevin Kromko
