Members of the Wallenpaupack community are coming together to support a local family in need following a recent house fire in Hawley that displaced a mother and her two daughters, who attend Wallenpaupack Elementary School.
A pancake breakfast fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hawley Methodist Church (315 Church Street, Hawley).

The Birmelin Basketball Camp is back this summer, offering young athletes an exciting opportunity to build skills, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
Taking place Tuesday, July 7 through Thursday, July 9, 2026, the camp will run daily from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lakeside and Stourbridge gyms in Honesdale.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation Philadelphia Division (Scranton Resident Agency) will be hosting a Teen Academy for students entering grades 9 through 12 during the 2026‑2027 school year.
This two‑day program will take place on July 28 and July 29, 2026, at the Wyoming Area Regional Police Department in Wyoming, Pennsylvania.

Join us on Saturday, May 9 at 1:00 PM for Spring Bingo at the Wallenpaupack Area High School Cafeteria. Enjoy 10 games for $20 with cash prizes up for grabs! Doors open at 12:00 PM, and games begin at 1:00 PM.
Spring Bingo is a fundraiser for the WAHS Choral Parents. Participants must be 18 or older to receive prizes. We hope to see you there!
