LEGAL NOTICE - November 2025 Board Meeting
WALLENPAUPACK AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Wallenpaupack Area School District Board of Education will meet in executive session, Monday, November 10, 2025, at 4:30 PM in the High School Library. This session is scheduled to discuss personnel and contracts.
The public work session of the Board will be held at 5:30 PM, Monday, November 10, 2025, in the High School Library, followed by the regular monthly meeting of the Board at 6:00 PM. Visitors are invited to attend in person.
Anyone interested in addressing the School Board should register by completing this form prior to 3:00 pm on Monday, November 10, 2025.

LEGAL NOTICE - Notice of Tax Resolution: 2025
“Be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the Wallenpaupack Area School District, that the Resolution imposing a tax of $1.00 on every $100.00 of the total value of every interest of every transfer of real property by deed, with certain exceptions, now in effect for the school year beginning July 1, 2025, ending June 30, 2026, be adopted and re-enacted in accordance with the provisions of the law, and the same tax be imposed for the school year beginning July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, and the Board Secretary be authorized to prepare and publish the proper notice of this action and that said Resolution and notice of re-enactment be attached to the minutes of the meeting.”

LEGAL NOTICE
WALLENPAUPACK AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
The proposed final budget of the Wallenpaupack Area School District for the 2025-2026 fiscal year will be available for inspection at the Administration Office, 2552 Route 6, Hawley, PA Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M., E.D.T., until Monday, June 9, 2025, on which date the Wallenpaupack Area School District Board of Education plans to adopt the proposed final budget at the regular meeting of the Board scheduled to be held at 6:00 P.M. in the High School Library.
The proposed final budget is also available on the Wallenpaupack Area School District’s website at www.wallenpaupack.org.
The proposed final budget shows expenditures of $93,192,646.00 and revenue of $ 92,063,742.00. The taxes to be levied are:
PIKE COUNTY - Real Estate - 88.4734 mills
WAYNE COUNTY - Real Estate - 10.7320 mills
Other taxes to be levied:
1% real estate transfer tax in accordance with Act 511.
Budget was approved at the June 9, 2025 Board Meeting with a roll call vote as follows:

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of School Directors of the Wallenpaupack Area School District that the following payment schedule for 2025-2026 taxes be approved:
August 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025 2 % Discount
October 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025 Face Amount
December 1, 2025 to Official County
Approved Tax Duplicate
Settlement Date 10% Penalty
Installment Payments – As Follows:
September 30, 2025 1/3 Face Amount
October 31, 2025 1/3 Face Amount
November 30, 2025 1/3 Face Amount
Taxes not paid on or before the official county approved tax duplicate settlement date will be returned to the County Tax Claim Bureau as delinquent.
