Directions to District

Wallenpaupack Area School District is located in a beautiful area of the country, right on the northern shore of Lake Wallenpaupack, and on the Wayne/Pike County line. While the majority of our schools are in the same location, we also have a campus located at the south end of the lake, as well as offices located in the borough of Hawley, PA.

General Directions

From Scranton Area and points west:

Take I-81 North to I-380 East to I-84 East to Exit 8 (old exit 4 - Mt. Cobb).
Turn left at the end of the exit ramp.
Go 500 yards to traffic light and turn right on Rt 348 East.
Follow 348 East for approx. 4-5 miles to intersection with Rt 590.
Turn left on Rt. 590 East through Hamlin and stay on Rt 590 for approx. 17 miles.
Turn right at the traffic light on to Rt 6 East.
Continue for approx. 1/4 mile.
For the High School: Turn right at the light into the High School parking lot.
For the Middle School, North Intermediate, and North Primary schools: Turn left at the light, go straight for two blocks (approx .5 mi) and follow the signs.

From Interstate 84 and points east

From I-84 and points east:

Take I-84 West to Exit 30 (old exit 8 - Blooming Grove).
At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Rt 402 North.
Stay on Rt 402 North to the stop sign at the intersection with Rt 6.
Turn left onto Rt 6 West.
Stay on Rt 6 West until the second traffic light.
For the High School: Turn left at the light into the High School parking lot.
For the Middle School, North Intermediate, and North Primary schools: Turn right at the light, go straight for two blocks (approx .5 mi) and follow the signs.

From points north

From points north:

Take I-81 South to I-380 East to I-84 East to Exit 8 (old exit 4 - Mt. Cobb).
