The School Board is proud to recognize three outstanding seniors whose dedication, leadership, and achievements have set a remarkable example for their peers. Victoria Latek, Kristian Nistad, and Nicholas Graham have excelled academically while contributing significantly to athletics, the arts, and community service.

Victoria Latek, daughter of Justyna and Kamil Latek, has distinguished herself through exceptional dedication and leadership during her high school years. A four-year member of the girls’ tennis, basketball, and track and field teams, Victoria served as captain of the tennis team, showcasing her commitment to athletics. Academically, she excelled as a three-year member of the National Honor Society, where she also contributed to the Executive Council for two years, and earned the Gold Award for Academic Excellence for three consecutive years. Beyond the classroom, Victoria demonstrated her passion for service and leadership as a Student Ambassador, Biddy Basketball Coach for three years, and active participant in HOSA and Aevidum.

After graduation, Victoria will continue her academic and athletic journey at Lebanon Valley College, where she has committed to major in Physical Therapy and compete on the tennis team.

Kristian Nistad, son of Cindy and Kris Nistad, has demonstrated remarkable talent and leadership throughout his high school career. A dedicated musician, Kristian has been an integral part of Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Show Choir for four years, while also performing in Marching and Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Wind Ensemble. His musical excellence earned him selection to District Chorus and District Band for three years, Region Chorus for two years, and Region Band for one year. Beyond music, Kristian served as Class Treasurer for three years, contributed to the National Honor Society and its Executive Council, and participated in NEPA Youth Wind Ensemble, WAHS Players, Scholastic Team, and Student Ambassador program. His leadership roles include Concert Choir Secretary and Trumpet Section Leader in Marching Band.

Recognized with multiple academic awards, Kristian plans to continue his education at a four-year university, pursuing a dual major in Vocal Performance and Mathematics.

Nicholas Graham, son of Ivy Rose, has excelled both academically and artistically during his high school years. A three-year member of the National Honor Society and recipient of the Gold Award for Academic Excellence, Nicholas balanced his academic achievements with involvement in athletics, participating on the football team for two years and wrestling for one year. His passion for the arts is evident through his three-year membership in the National Art Honor Society, where he served as Vice President for one year and President for another. Nicholas also took part in Junior Leadership, further demonstrating his commitment to growth and leadership.

After graduation, Nicholas plans to attend art school to major in Illustration, with aspirations of pursuing a career in character design for animated television shows.

The commitment to excellence exemplified by these students both inside and outside the classroom reflects the values of their character, and our school district, and we commend them for their hard work, perseverance, and future aspirations.
