The recognition of Wallenpaupack's Fine Arts Student of the Month honors students who demonstrate exceptional creativity, dedication, and contribution to the arts within their school community. It serves as a way to celebrate artistic talent while reinforcing the value of self-expression and cultural enrichment in education. This acknowledgment not only motivates students to pursue excellence in the arts but also fosters a positive school culture that appreciates diverse forms of achievement.

This month features Liana Lucchese.

Liana, of Greeley, is being recognized for her achievements in illustration.  She has been a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years, the Art Club for 4 years, and the National Art Honor Society for 4 years, serving as president for two.

She has also been involved with the Leadership and Diversity committee, Student Ambassadors, and Mini-Thon.  Liana has received high honors for 4 years.  She is also a Scholastic Gold Key Award recipient and was selected to represent Wallenpaupack as a WVIA Artist of the Week.  She plans to attend a 4-year art school to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and to pursue a career in storyboard art and character design.
