New teachers were formally welcomed by the Wallenpaupack Area School District Board of Education during the September Public Meeting as they begin their first year serving WASD students and families.

The Wallenpaupack Area School District Board of Education proudly welcomed new teachers to the district during its September Public Meeting. The introduction of new faculty members marks an exciting beginning to the school year and reflects the district’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for all students.

During the meeting, board members and administrators recognized the newest members of the WASD teaching staff and expressed their appreciation for the dedication, talent, and enthusiasm these educators bring to the district. The new teachers represent a variety of grade levels and subject areas and will play an important role in supporting student success both inside and outside the classroom.

Superintendent Dr. Gunuskey, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Starnes, and other district leaders welcomed the educators to the Wallenpaupack family, emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. As they begin their careers at WASD, these teachers join a tradition of excellence focused on academic achievement, innovation, and community engagement.

The Board of Education looks forward to the positive impact these educators will have throughout the school year and beyond. Their dedication to fostering engaging learning environments will help ensure that Wallenpaupack students continue to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
