The Wallenpaupack Modern Band, known as The Orange Slices, were selected to perform at Musikfest in Bethlehem, one of the nation's largest free music festivals. After submitting an audition tape, the group earned the opportunity to perform a 45-minute set on the Plaza Tropical Stage on Monday, August 3. They did not dissapoint!
In addition to their live performance, the student musicians participated in a vocal coaching session led by a panel of musicians from across the country, providing a valuable educational experience and the opportunity to learn from industry professionals
The Orange Slices members include Sierra Pedone, Molly Fehringer, Gena SanClementi, Isla Brennan, Sara Warner, and Cora Hoffmann. These talented students proudly represented Wallenpaupack while showcasing the skills and creativity they have developed through the district's music program.
