Wallenpaupack Area High School proudly recognizes Gabriel “Gabe” Caufield, who has recently achieved an impressive milestone in his wrestling career—his 100th career win.
Caufield, a senior competing in the 172‑pound division, has been a dominant force on the mat throughout his high‑school career. As a junior, he posted a strong 36–12 record, demonstrating both consistency and high‑level competitiveness. His recent performances have been equally impressive, as he has continued to accumulate victories as he progresses through an impressive senior season.
Head Coach Stephen Krushnowski recently praised Caufield’s exceptional skill and intensity, noting:
“Gabe is just dominant in the top position. If he gets on top, good luck getting away. Gabe is extremely physical and aggressive on the mat.”
Reaching the 100‑win milestone is a testament to Caufield’s dedication, resilience, and countless hours of training. His physicality, mat awareness, and relentless style of wrestling have made him a standout member of the Wallenpaupack wrestling program.
