Wallenpaupack is proud to announce that Freshman Emma Ey has earned a place on the 2026 U16 USA Women’s National Field Hockey Team, marking an incredible achievement for one of our standout student‑athletes.
Emma’s selection follows an impressive performance this past summer at the Nexus Championship in Virginia Beach, where she distinguished herself among elite competitors and was invited to try out for the national team.
As part of the rigorous evaluation process, Emma traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina throughout December and January to compete against top U16 field hockey players from across the country. Her dedication, skill, and competitive drive ultimately secured her a well‑deserved spot on the national roster.
Wallenpaupack congratulates Emma Ey on this remarkable accomplishment. Her hard work and commitment are an inspiration to the entire school community, and we are proud to celebrate her success on the national stage.
