Wallenpaupack Area High School proudly honors Nathan Freethy as one of our Fine Arts Students of the Month for January. Nathan’s passion for the arts shines through his accomplishments in instrumental music, vocal music, and drama.
Nathan has been an active member of numerous ensembles and organizations, including the marching band, symphonic band, jazz band, wind ensemble, concert choir, chamber choir, show choir, and the WAHS Players cast and crew. Nathan also participates in the National Honor Society, Scholastics, and Cross-Country teams, demonstrating his versatility and commitment.
Leadership is another hallmark of Nathan’s journey—he has served as a section leader and drum major for the marching band and as vice president of the choir. Academically, Nathan has earned the Gold Award every semester and consistently qualified for high honors.
Looking ahead, Nathan plans to attend university to study environmental engineering or pursue engineering with a background in environmental science.
