Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers

As the school year kicks off, keeping students healthy is an important part of supporting academic success and regular attendance. Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers provide many healthcare services to our local families.

Families seeking healthcare services for their children may be interested to know that Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers currently offers:

  • Routine well-child visits and annual checkups
  • School and sports physicals
  • Immunizations and preventive care
  • Same-day sick appointments for illnesses such as colds, flu, strep throat, and ear infections
  • Pediatric walk-in care at the Sterling location for urgent, non-life-threatening medical needs
  • Access to integrated behavioral health support as part of whole-person pediatric care

Regular well-child visits help monitor growth and development, support healthy habits, address physical and behavioral health concerns, and help keep students on track throughout the school year.

Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers has pediatric offices in Honesdale, Sterling (Lake Ariel), Waymart, and Lords Valley. Same-day sick visits are available whenever possible, and the Sterling office offers walk-in pediatric care for children from birth through age 18, including some evening and Sunday hours
