On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the Fourth Grade students of Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School will proudly present a Veterans Day Program at the Wallenpaupack Area High School gymnasium. This meaningful event is dedicated to honoring the courageous men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The program will feature patriotic musical performances, including songs representing each of the five branches of the military. Students have also created a moving art display that reflects their heartfelt appreciation for our local veterans.

In addition, all WNIS students have participated in a writing contest focused on expressing gratitude to our veterans. The winning entries will be read aloud during the program, offering a personal and touching tribute from the youngest members of our community.

We are honored to welcome area veterans, community officials, and school administrators to this special event.

The evening’s principal speaker will be Sgt. David W. Spry Jr. of the United States Marine Corps, whose distinguished service includes deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Sgt. Spry served during Operation Iraqi Freedom from January to June 2003, and again during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan from November 2003 to May 2004. His dedication and sacrifice exemplify the values of honor, courage, and commitment that define our Armed Forces.

This program is free and open to the public. We warmly invite all members of the community to join us in recognizing and celebrating the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
