About the Website
Welcome to the Wallenpaupack Wrestling Website! The purpose of this site is to celebrate the positive accomplishments and hard work of our student athletes. The site also provides us a convenient way to communicate with our parents and supporters for upcoming events. We hope you find the site enjoyable.
Our usual visitors are the kids and families involved in our program. Our alumni also visit the site and I often hear from them how happy they are to see how the team is doing and pass along best wishes. They should be proud of the team – our dedicated alumni and the sacrifices they have made for the program is a big part of the team’s success. We are always building on the foundations set down by past classes.
The site provides a history of the program and stats all the way back to our third season since the school reinstated wrestling in 2001-2002. This includes stats, records, and individual box scores our matches. Of course with so much information and so many stats we also know that other teams check the site out to scout us from time to time. And a mighty howdy to you – we’ll see you on the mat!
We are also fortunate to have some of the local papers check out the website and we encourage that. Covering so many schools it is hard for them to be everywhere at once and we are happy to provide such an easy outlet to keep track of the team. We welcome any positive coverage that this site can facilitate for our local media. If you are one of these and you need to contact us feel free to use the contact information provided below.
If we are real lucky a college or two may use it to look at some recruits. If you are one of them and have any questions on our kids please feel free to contact us (contact info below).
You may have noticed that we do not have a coaches’ page. I have looked at a lot of websites and they always seem to have this page, so I feel I should address that. We really feel strongly that this site should be dedicated to the student athletes, so we have not included a page for the coaches at this time. If you are a parent and want to know more about the coaches we have a Meet the Coaches’ night at the start of every season or you may contact us at the school. If you are a parent who is thinking of moving into the area and you would like to know more about our program and our coaches feel free to contact us and we would be happy to discuss any concerns you may have.
