Student Expectations
Students in my classroom must be good citizens. I have three basic rules that I expect everyone to know and follow at all times. They are: 1. Responsibility 2. Respect 3. Personal Space
HOMEWORK I do not assign very long homework assignments, but students will have some homework just about every night. I do not expect a student to spend more than an hour and a half on homework on any given night. Most evenings, homework should be completed within 30-45 minutes. I always expect that students complete their homework as part of following the rule of responsibility within the classroom. Also, I expect that students will write their assignments in their planner each day, and get an adult to sign it each evening.
Remember, anything you do is worth doing well. I expect your best!
GET INVOLVED! There are many clubs and organizations that are sponsored by the school, and they are a great way to learn new skills and get to know new people! You may want to try a sport, participate in Student Council, join the Volunteer Club, the band, the chorus, the Tech. Ed. club, or something else that might fit in with one of your hobbies. The activities are available for you to participate in, so get involved!
